Sewanagala Police are carrying out investigations regarding an attempt to murder a doctor of Sewanagala Hospital by introducing poison to the water tank of his official residence.
Dr. Chaminda Vithanage, the Medical Officer in charge of Sewanagala Divisional Hospital said an employee of the hospital has introduced poison to the water tank of his official residence. He said he had already informed the Director of Health Service of Monargala District.
The Director of Health Services Monaragala District Dr. P.D.K. Adhikari said a departmental inquiry would be held once a written complaint is received. |
