Virajini Lalithya de Silva, fondly known to us as Nirosha Virajini started her singing career at teenage years singing Bollywood and Tamil songs at live stage, Radio and TV programs.

It was when she was introduced to the well known music composer, Austin Munasinghe that her real

music career as a solo singer was started. This solid foundation, together with guidance from the school and from her parents, paved the way into her rise to the local music scene in 1991. And ever since, there has been no looking back for Nirosha. And as they say… the rest is history.

Nirosha's natural gift of singing was further honed with her qualifications as Diploma holder in Karnatic Music from South India and the prestigious 'Sangit Visharad (Part II)' degree from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow, India.
