The Selection Committee headed by Duleep Mendis has named T.M. Dilshan as the Captain of the Sri Lanka cricket team pending the approval of the Sports Minister, Mendis tolda short while ago. Secretary SLC Nishantha Ranathunga speaking to  stated that Dilshan has been appointed captain for the upcoming English tour.
