MP Duminda Silva was discharged from the Sri Jayawardenapura hospital and was taken to Singapore for further medical treatment last night (November 1), Specialist Dr. Maheshi Wijeratne stated.
Duminda Silva’s condition has greatly improved, the doctor further stated.
Meanwhile, hospital sources confirmed that the MP was discharged from the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital at around 9.15 p.m. last night.
MP Silva was injured in a shooting that occurred in Kolonnawa last month which claimed the life of former MP Baratha Lakshman Premachandra. |
