The Colombo High Court will begin today (Sept. 09) the hearing of oral evidence in the ‘white flag case’ against former Army chief Sarath Fonseka.

Deputy solicitor general Buwaneka Aluvihare will first make his submissions, followed by Mr. Fonseka’s lawyer Nalin Ladduwahetti.

The three-member trial-at-bar has ordered prison officials to present the former Army chief at the hearing.
